Hot-in-place recycling engineering application of low penetration aged asphalt

Hot-in-place recycling of asphalt pavement is one the important regeneration technologies engineering, which apply to pavements with fewer diseases, excellent driving quality, slight rutting, and good structural strength. However, surface layer some road sections was aging, penetration index aged at 25°C lower than 20(0.1mm), does not meet recommended requirements criterion in China. In 2019, 3 test projects were laid on expressway, each section 1 km, for confirming feasibility using hot-in-place less 20 (0.1mm) through physical engineering. Experimental results confirmed that Marshall stability, residual dynamic stability water seepage recycled mixture optimized by material a 15 can specification requirements, Pavement Condition Index (PCI), International Roughness (IRI), Rut Depth (RD) are conditions.
